Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson is an Mexican singer and musician born into a musical family. Her early years were spent listening to traditional music, old boleros and the traditional romantic and ranchero ballads. Ana loves the opera and tango genres as well as every form of dramatic performances. She was taught by her mother to sing. However, she began more intensive singing lessons with Flavio Belcerra when she was just 16 years old. Belcerra was an internationally acclaimed Mexican opera Tenor. She furthered her training in music in the School of Music of Guadalajara University, and then the School of Sacred Music, Toluca. The singer performed at Guadalajara, Mexico City and other cities as a young musician and student. After moving from Mexico to the United States in 2000, she performed in the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. She is currently a member of Ensemble XXI of Redlands and is a frequent solo performer of the traditional Latin American music at private events. Alongside being an instructor and performer in the local area, her love of art and music has her engaged in a wide range of different projects. Ana was also an active member of the Community Chorus of Redlands as in addition to the Inland Master Chorale and Performance Loft. Ana enjoys singing classic Latin American songs and hopes to encourage other people to follow in her footsteps.
